Nicolas Simonin has written more than 18 TV episodes produced and aired between 2004 and 2012 on 4 major European Networks (TF1, M6, France 2, France 5). As an International Director/Producer, his short film ‘DERAILED’ was screened at the Cannes film festival 2011 and in more than 40 festivals around the world (Australia, France, Brazil, USA...) + 5 awards: Outstanding Achievement at New Port Beach, Best Short at Fearless Film Festival, Best Weird Tale at Portland Official H.P. LOVECRAFT Film Festival. After its worldwide success, ”DERAILED” got pick up in 2011 by Time Warner’s Fearnet.com through a US distribution deal. ‘Derailed’ has been choosen by ELI ROTH in 2011 among the 10 finalists of the Universal Studio Halloween contest. After several years working at Europacorp Studios (“Taken”) and as TV staff writer for M6, TF1 Network (the French equivalent of “NBC”), Nicolas Simonin has produced over 4 award-winning short and is now working in Social Media Marketing Manager for Warner Brothers Theatrical while producing new projects. 

Nicolas Simonin has been involved in over 30 social media campaigns in the video game and film Industries. Working with Petrol Advertising, a leader in the field of video game marketing, he was responsible for the visual marketing of top-selling franchises such as Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, The Last of Us, Final Fantasy and Silent Hill, among others. At the Walt Disney Studios he has provided in-depth analyses of the bilingual market for some of Disney's most prominent properties such as Star Wars, the Marvel Studios and Pixar in addition to Disney Live, the Disney Animation Studios, the Disney Music Group and the ABC Television Network.

Currently, working as Social Media Analyst for Machinima, Nicolas provides daily insights on gaming & entertainment properties/I.P. from Machinima and Warner Brothers Studios.
