How to Improvise Your Movie...The Whole Time You're Shooting It! The tricks and techniques for making it happen!
Attendees will learn all the inside tricks and techniques on how to forego a script; how to prep and create a "scriptment"; how to direct each improvised scene; how to stay within the schedule; how to keep the cast on track; how to find the right crew; and how to begin the initial edit.
BIO CHERIE KERR: Film award winner, Kerr, is a founding member of the world famous L.A. Groundlings, where she performed improv, wrote sketches, and directed two alternate format shows. She also is the Artistic Director of 31-year old Orange County Crazies and has written more than 450 sketches, five screenplays, a full-length Broadway musical and her own one-woman character-driven show, "Out of Her Mind." Her first film, "We've Got Balls," a family-friendly cult bowling movie, won eight awards along the film festival circuit, among them, top honors in 2013 from AOF. Her latest film, screening at AOF , Saturday, July 31 at 3 p.m., The Show Can't Go On! was fully improvised.
