SYNOPSIS: Sally Ingleton has been an active member of the Australian and international screen industry for more than 30 years. Sally and her company 360 Degree Films, specialise in telling stories about the environment be they natural history (PENGUIN ISLAND, KANGAROO MOB, DEVIL ISLAND, POSSUM WARS) nature science (ACID OCEAN, SEED HUNTER, MUDDY WATERS: LIFE AND DEATH ON THE GREAT BARRIER REEF) and social history and nature (THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN FLY) and recently co produced JIMMY SHU’S TASTE OF THE TERRITORY for SBS Food.As the principal at 360 Degree Films she has produced and directed an award-winning slate of over 40 hours of factual television for both domestic and international broadcast partners. In addition Sally has extensive industry experience at all levels having worked as the Director of Screen Territory, Investment Manager at Film Victoria, Project Manager at AFTRS, screenwriting Lecturer at RMIT, project assessor with the screen agencies and Jury member for the Logies, AACTA’s and ATOMS. Sally is an acclaimed director with her first documentary THE TENTH DANCER winning Best Documentary ATOM Awards and winning a number of awards around the world including Best Documentary Chicago Documentary Film Festival and being nominated Best Documentary Hawaii International Film Festival. Other noted titles are MAO’S NEW SUIT (Nominee Best Documentary Sydney Film Festival Dendy Awards, Nominee Best Documentary Hawaii International Film Festival), SEED HUNTER which won a number of environment and science awards and ACID OCEAN which was commissioned by PBS, SBS, ZDF, Arte and SVT and won Best Marine Science Award at Blue Ocean Film Festival, Changing Planet Award 2016 Science Media Summit and finalist in Best Science Journalism Award Eureka Prizes Australian Museum.WILD THINGS has been supported by Screen Australia, Screen Territory, Screen Tasmania and Film Victoria.
